Let's try it my way

So for today, I am using a very famous music video from a famous artist collab and I call it guess the music video challenge. I will reveal the name of the music video in the end of the blog. Let's see how many of you can guess it right without peeking. So without further due let's begin this blog.

This song is a collaboration between a female artist and the civil war. Also this song is a brilliant lullaby which was the main idea of the whole song to be.

This song's music video was shot in a forest, cemetery and log cabin in the Tennessee town of Watertown. It features the artist walking barefoot through the woods, wearing a long white gown as the Civil Wars accompany her in front of a fireplace.

The artist had to endure uncomfortable shooting conditions for her part. It was so cold and freezing. She was shaking the whole time. It was about 40 degrees in Nashville and on addition it had just rained, according to the singer.

She was wearing a 1920s vintage nightgown that didn't provide much warmth but on a positive note she didn't get sick. That was the upside.

The video contains several references to the best-selling Hunger Games book trilogy including the iconic mockingjay pin. There's this moment in the music video where she find this mockingjay pin and hold it up.

The official Hunger Games companion album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 175,000 copies in its first week.

It was the first multi-artist film soundtrack to reach the peak position since The Twilight Saga: New Moon rose from #2 to #1 in its second week on the tally in November 2009.

So the singer had this idea that they wanted the song to be about the empathy that goes into this film.

According to the singer  the undertones of like, sympathy and human compassion that go along with such an incredible film with all this action and fighting in it. They wanted to highlight the fact that there's a lot of heart beneath all that.

As the song lyrics goes by,

Just close your eyes,

The sun is going down

You'll be alright,

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light,

You and I'll be safe and sound.

But my favourite verse in the song is,

Don't you dare look out your window,

Darling everything's on fire

The war outside our door keeps raging on

Hold onto this lullaby even when the musics gone, gone.

Wow that just gave me chills, memorizing it and typing it all the way.

Well that was the end of the blog guys! See you next time with another music video till then goodbye and take care.

Ooh wait I haven't told you the name of the music video. Hmm! Can you guess it right? Well I'll tell you it's called Safe  and Sound sung by very talented Taylor Swift featuring the Civil War for the hunger games album. Bye for real this time. 👋
